Becoming a CIS Volunteer is as easy as 1-2-3.
The FIRST STEP is registering with Guilford County Schools for a free background check at www.gcsvolunteers.com if you have a DMV# and Social Security#, if not we can discuss a supervised volunteer role.
SECOND STEP is to complete the CIS online google volunteer registration and select a volunteer role.
Virtual Guest Reader = Classroom Helper
Virtual Mentoring Moment = Mentor
School Beautification Projects = CIS Friend
THIRD STEP is to speak with Heather Adams to discuss final placement with a school!
