Our Largest Annual Fundraiser, Dancing with the High Point Stars

Communities In Schools of High Point, Inc. is excited to celebrate its 37th year in High Point schools by hosting our largest annual fundraiser. CISHP provides programs and services to students who attend nine of High Point’s schools Title 1 schools. Title 1 is determined by the percentage of student who qualify for free and/or reduced lunch annually, a federal indicator of poverty.
 
As a nationally accredited dropout prevention program, CISHP is celebrating its 37th year with a strong history of addressing risk factors that, if ignored, ultimately lead to students dropping out of school.  The effectiveness of CIS programs is clear, as we graduate 99-100% of our students each year, all of whom are at high-risk for dropout. It is crucial that we help students realize the importance of a high school diploma as the foundation for future endeavors, but we cannot do it without community support.
