Communities In Schools (CIS) is the leading dropout prevention organization in the United States, partnering with thousands of public K–12 schools to ensure students have the resources, relationships, and support necessary to stay in school and thrive both academically and personally.

What is Communities in Schools of High Point?
Communities In Schools of High Point (CISofHP) is a local affiliate of the nation’s largest dropout prevention organization, serving under-resourced students in public schools throughout the High Point community. Since 1988, CISofHP has connected students and families with critical resources, caring adult relationships, and school-based support services designed to address barriers to success. Through partnerships with schools, volunteers, businesses, and community organizations, CISofHP empowers students to stay in school, graduate, and build pathways toward college, careers, and lifelong achievement. futures.
