Jennifer Reavis serves Communities in Schools of High Point as the Executve Director. She comes to us with over 17 years of experience, as a volunteer or staff member, in the Guilford County’s nonprofit sector. Jennifer volunteered for Guilford Education Alliance before joining the staff as Program Director. From there, she was the Stewardship Manager for Greensboro Urban Ministry and became the Executive Director of She ROCKS.
Jennifer grew up in eastern NC, graduated from Meredith College and has lived in Guilford County with her husband since 1998. She has volunteered with the Junior League of Greensboro, Greensboro Children's Museum, Women's Only 5k and several PTAs. She is currently serving on the Guilford Community Leadership Council for Children's Home Society, the Triad Association of Fundraising Professionals Board of Directors, Guilford Education Alliance's Program Leadership Team and with the GCS Information Ambassadors. In 2021, she completed the Executive Directors Academy with the Guilford Nonprofit Consortium and is excited to participate in the 2024 Leadership High Point class.

Kim Wagoner joins Communities in Schools of High Point as the School Support Manager. Kim has over 30 years of experience working in education. Most of those years were developing and supervising a dropout prevention program in Randolph County.
Kim graduated from Gardner Webb University with a Bachelor's in Human Services. She earned her Master in School Administration from University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Kim's passion has always been to help students to succeed by motivating and advocating for them. She is looking forward to connection with our community and schools.

Zakiya Payne is a graduate from North Carolina A&T State University. She is a product of High Point City Schools. In the fall of 2022, Zakiya began her work in the High Point community as a High Point University Americorps VISTA in the newly formed newly formed Center for Community Engagement.. During her time as a VISTA, she found that working alongside the community to solve problems and generate new ideas was a career path she wanted to pursue. In her free time, Zakiya likes to tell corny jokes and spend time with her friends and family.

Terrill Moore grew up in Chocowinity, NC and is a graduate Winston Salem State University where he received his Bachelors in Social Work. Terrill has been working as a site coordinator at High Point Central High School since 2016. He enjoys working with young people and their families.
