Heather Adams serves as our Executive Director at Communities In Schools of High Point, Inc. and brings over 20 years of nonprofit experience to her role.
Heather began her career in the nonprofit arena in 2001 with the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, where her roles included Program Director, Senior Program Director, Senior Grants Director, and Senior Engagement Operations Director. She quickly found her calling to serve others through her nonprofit work. She has served as a trusted thought-partner and strategic thinker in her past roles and has a passion for overall operations and loves building relationships and teams through open, transparent communications.
Heather attended Catawba College in Salisbury, NC where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Recreation. She was also a member of the Catawba College softball team and continues her love of the game as a Volunteer Little League Coach.
Currently, Heather looks forward to meeting like-minded individuals in the High Point area that have similar interests in empowering our youth so they will be successful in all they do.

As the Executive Assistant and Finance Manager for Communities In Schools of High Point, Inc., Leronda brings over 25 years of finance, banking, and management experience to the table.
After approximately one year with the company, she began transitioning financial operations and
many other duties from manual to electronic tasks. Her areas of expertise include problem solving, conflict resolutions and finance. Strong relationships are important to her, both professionally and personally.
She has called High Point, NC home for the past 16 years, but she was born in Fort Knox Kentucky and reared in Camden, South Carolina. She is a graduate from South Carolina State University. She has worked for First Union Bank, Lincoln Financial (formerly Jefferson Pilot), Bank of America, and Liberty Tax.
Currently, Leronda is excited to hold a position in the nonprofit world as she continues to grow her
professional skills, gain experience in finance management and reporting, and continue to strive for excellence under the CISHP.

As the Director of Program Operations for Communities In Schools of High Point, Inc. En’Chantra brings over 12 years of higher education, relationship-building expertise, and management of operations. En’Chantra was born and married in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina as a former military child.
En’Chantra began her professional journey within the nonprofit realm in 2021 with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater High Point, North Carolina as the JCPC Education Coordinator for Project Learn.
En’Chantra graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of General Studies and a Bachelor of Science. En’Chantra has also obtained a Master of Science degree from Strayer University in Public Health. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
With a passion for service and education promotion, she hopes to collaborate with members of the community to motivate youth to be the best version of themselves.

Jennifer Reavis joins Communities in Schools of High Point as the Director of Volunteers and Community Relations. She comes to us with over 16 years of experience, as a volunteer or staff member, in the Guilford County’s nonprofit sector.
Jennifer grew up in Rocky Mount, NC, graduated from Meredith College and has lived in Guilford County with her husband, Lee, since 1998. She has volunteered with the Junior League of Greensboro, Greensboro Children's Museum, Women's Only 5k and several PTAs. She is currently serving on the Guilford Community Leadership Council for Children's Home Society, the Greensboro Ballet Board of Directors and with the GCS Information Ambassadors. In 2021, she completed the Executive Directors Academy with the Guilford Nonprofit Consortium.
Jennifer volunteered for Guilford Education Alliance before joining the staff as Program Director. From there, she was the Stewardship Manager for Greensboro Urban Ministry and became the Executive Director of She ROCKS. Most recently, Jennifer worked with Family Service of the Piedmont’s High Point Foundation on their 2022 High Point Oyster Roast.
Along with their teenage daughter, Jennifer enjoys travelling, live music, and theatre. Professionally, she is enthusiastic about getting out in the community to talk with our supporters, volunteers, and our schools. Relationships are a key factor to building a robust community. The support for our students in High Point is extraordinary and she is looking forward to being a strong voice for them to succeed!
