School-Based Programs
Communities In Schools of High Point provides Student Support Specialists - dedicated school-based professionals who help students overcome barriers that can impact their learning, well-being, and path to graduation. Going beyond academics, they connect students and families with the resources and support they need to address academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and family challenges through the Communities In Schools model of integrated student supports.
Each Student Support Specialist and their schools have their own in-school programs to support our CIS Students:

Alumni Engagement

The Communities in Schools Alumni Engagement Program invites recent high school graduates to remain connected and continue their journey with CISHP. Through alumni meet-ups and networking opportunities, young alumni can build meaningful relationships, learn from one another’s experiences, and stay actively engaged with the CISHP community. In addition, eligible recent graduates have access to Young Alumni Scholarships, providing valuable support as they pursue higher education, career goals, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) aspirations. Together, these opportunities help alumni stay connected, inspired, and empowered to achieve their dreams.
If you would like to learn more about our Young Alumni Program, call Terrill Moore at 336-455-4229 or email tmoore@cisofhighpoint.org
