Communities In Schools of High Point (CISHP) is a local affiliate of the nation’s largest dropout prevention organization(CIS), serving under-resourced students in public schools throughout the High Point community.
Who We Are
Since 1988, CISHP has connected students and families with critical resources, caring adult relationships, and school-based support services designed to address barriers to success. Through partnerships with schools, volunteers, businesses, and community organizations, CISHP empowers students to stay in school, graduate, and build pathways toward college, careers, and lifelong achievement.

Communities In Schools of High Point connects the following services to students:

Case management including one on one check-ins, home visits and teacher conferences
Referrals to community resources that provide basic necessities
In-school academic assistance and post-graduate planning
