Malachi's Buddy Bench

Montlieu Academy of Technology, Change Often-Social Innovation Firm, and Communities In Schools of High Point are working together to raise awareness and honor the life of Malachi Nelson, a former student at Montlieu Academy, who sadly passed away due to domestic violence. Our goal of $10,000 will support this awareness campaign as well as sponsor a Memorial Buddy Bench to be placed on the campus of Montlieu Academy, as a commemorative symbol of Malachi’s memory and beacon of opposition to child abuse and domestic violence. We ask you to consider making a gift to this campaign and share with others who you feel may wish to contribute to this cause. Click HERE to learn about his story.
